The following presentation was created as a way of teaching faculty and staff best practices on utilizing design principles and public speaking skills to spare audiences from Death by PowerPoint. Nan Peck and I were invited to present Death by PowerPoint at the VCCS New Horizons Conference in April 2006 in Roanoke, Virginia.

Accompanying the presentation was an assessment checklist given to participants to use in conjunction with following the design principles shared in the session.
